Canned beans vs dried beans, I finally switched sides

I always argued canned beans were fine and dried ones were too much work. Then Tuesday I made a big pot of pinto beans from a 2 pound bag that cost $1.80. The flavor was way better and I froze half for later, so now I'm getting like 6 meals out of it. Anyone else make the swap and find it easier than they thought?

72 cents for a pound is a steal. Dried wins forever now.

Last time I bought dried beans I forgot to soak them and tried to cook them anyway. That was a four hour mistake I won't be repeating, but hey, at least the beans were cheap!
