I was dead set against using frozen vegetables for stir fry, but then I tried it.

I always thought fresh was the only way to go (you know, for that crunch). But a bag of frozen broccoli florets for $1.50 actually saved my meal last Tuesday when I had nothing else in the fridge - has anyone else found a frozen veggie brand that doesn't turn mushy?

Buddy of mine swore by frozen peas. Said they held up better than fresh somehow.

Frozen peas actually beat fresh ones" - that's where I started too, and now I'm convinced frozen vegetables are just better for certain things. It's like how frozen fish is often fresher than the "fresh" stuff at the grocery store because it gets frozen right on the boat. Same with frozen berries for smoothies - they're picked at peak ripeness and flash frozen, while fresh ones sit on a truck for days. I've noticed this pattern where people act like fresh is always superior, but half the time frozen is actually more consistent and way less wasteful. You just gotta pick brands that don't add water or extra processing.

Wait, frozen peas actually beat fresh ones? That sounds backwards but I'm listening.
