Just heard a mom at Aldi say she can't afford eggs, then watched her buy 4 packs of pre-cut fruit
I was in line behind her on Tuesday morning and she said eggs were too expensive right now, which I get, they were $4.19 a dozen at that store. But then she loaded up on those little plastic tubs of melon and pineapple that cost almost 4 bucks each. I wanted to say something but it's not my business, and honestly I've done the same kind of thing before without noticing. It just made me think about how the stuff that saves you real money at the store is almost never the stuff that's easy to grab. Has anyone else caught themselves buying the convenient version of something and then doing the math later?
