My neighbor Bob said I was wasting money on fresh herbs every week

I ran into him yesterday while he was picking weeds out of his front yard, and he pointed out that I could just grow basil and parsley in two pots on my porch for the $4 I spend per bunch at the store. He told me he's been doing it for three summers and hasn't bought a single herb since. Has anyone else actually switched to growing their own seasoning and seen real savings?

i was totally skeptical until i tried it and honestly Bob is right, I havent bought herbs in months

Makes you wonder how much other stuff we're all just throwing money at without even questioning it first, right? It's wild how many little "habits" we have that could be swapped out for something simpler.
