My neighbor said frozen veggies are a waste of money compared to fresh.

He buys cheap fresh stuff that wilts in two days, while my $1.50 bags of frozen peas and corn last months. Which side are you on for stretching a food budget?

Wilted veggies are still edible though, right? Seems like a weird thing to get worked up about.

Yeah, but it's the principle of the thing. If you pay for fresh food, you should get fresh food. It just feels disrespectful.
