Rant: Got roped into a discount grocery tour by my aunt in Tulsa

My aunt dragged me to this place called Aldi in Tulsa last weekend and I swear she spent 45 minutes comparing every single can of beans by price per ounce. I stood there holding a bag of tortilla chips that looked like a knockoff of Doritos, wondering if my life choices led to this moment. She ended up saving like 12 bucks total but we wasted half a tank of gas getting there, so who really won? Has anyone else been forced into a budget store adventure by a family member?

Aldi's in north Tulsa near 36th and Peoria is actually worth it if you hit the produce first thing in the morning. My grandma used to drag me there every Saturday until I figured out you can just bring earbuds and nod along while she compares prices. Next time suggest a time limit, like 15 minutes per aisle, and offer to split the gas if she covers your snacks.

Hang on... isn't 36th and Peoria more like midtown than north Tulsa though? My grandmother used to take me to the one on Peoria too but I swear it was further north, like around Pine or something. Not trying to be that person but I drive through that area for work deliveries and that intersection always throws me off...
