Tried $20 freezer meals from the grocery store and I'm honestly surprised

Last Tuesday I grabbed a bunch of those frozen family-size meals from Walmart, you know the ones that are like $4-$5 each. I figured for $20 I could cover dinner for a week, which is way cheaper than my usual fast food habit. The chili mac was actually pretty good but the sweet and sour chicken was mostly breading with like two tiny pieces of meat. Has anyone else tried these or found a specific brand that doesn't feel like you're eating cardboard?

You said "sweet and sour chicken was mostly breading" and man that takes me back. I grabbed one of those bags last month thinking it would be an easy dinner and I swear I counted three little nuggets of chicken in the whole thing. The rest was just this weird orange goo and like twenty pieces of bell pepper. I ended up tossing the rest of the bag after that. The chili mac sounds promising though, I might give that a shot since I usually like anything with cheese in it. Have you tried the Salisbury steak ones or are those even worse?

Three chicken nuggets is basically a garnish at that point, not a meal.
