Why does nobody talk about how dried beans are just as fast if you use a pressure cooker?
I spent 20 years soaking beans overnight before cooking them, then a neighbor in my apartment complex mentioned she makes black beans from dry in 45 minutes with an Instant Pot, and now I feel like I wasted hundreds of hours of my life.

RIGHT? I had the SAME exact reaction when my buddy told me he just tosses dry pinto beans in his pressure cooker. I could NOT believe I spent all those years doing the overnight soak thing like some kind of caveman. It's honestly kind of EMBARRASSING thinking about all the times I planned a meal around beans and then had to wait a whole day. The pressure cooker basically flips the whole bean game on its head and makes them an actual weeknight option. I'm still salty about it though, because those wasted hours add up real fast.

Got a pressure cooker last month and @the_henry I still forget beans are in there and burn them half the time.
