Frozen veggies vs. fresh for meal prep - frozen wins every time
I used to buy fresh broccoli and bell peppers for Sunday meal prep, but they'd go slimy by Wednesday. Switched to frozen bags from Costco for $2.50 each and they keep for weeks in the freezer. Has anyone else found frozen actually tastes better after reheating?

Gotta disagree with you there. Fresh veggies have way better texture when you're doing meal prep if you pick the right ones. Carrots, cabbage, and sweet potatoes hold up fine for a whole week in the fridge without getting nasty. And bell peppers? Cut them dry and store them with a paper towel, mine stay crunchy for days. Frozen stuff always turns into a mushy mess in my experience, especially broccoli. You really don't notice that waterlogged taste after microwaving?

Haha, right? I'm totally with you on this. Frozen broccoli is way more forgiving when you forget meal prep day, and the texture is fine if you don't overcook it. Have you tried the frozen green beans from Costco too?
