I picked the $40 blender over the $180 one and I'm not sorry
Everyone in my circle kept saying spend more on a blender or you'll replace it in 6 months. I got the cheap Proctor Silex at Walmart on sale for $38 plus tax. It's been 14 months now and I use it every single morning for smoothies with frozen fruit and spinach. It's loud and the base walks around a bit, but it blends everything fine. My sister's $180 Blendtec died at 10 months and the motor smelled like burnt toast. Has anyone else had a budget appliance outlast the fancy one?
