Question about that cheap apartment listing near the old factory

I jumped on a $650 a month studio last fall because the price seemed too good to be true, and it was. The landlord "forgot" to mention the building had no insulation, so my heating bill was over $300 every single month from November to March. Has anyone else been burned by a place that looked fine on paper but had one huge hidden cost?

My old apartment in Tempe charged $35 monthly for that, @the_logan, which felt like a total scam.

The old factory place had a mandatory valet trash service I never used but still had to pay for.
