Thought my neighbor was full of it with his $50-a-month grocery budget
Turns out the guy drives to three different discount grocers in SCV every Saturday and meal preps everything from scratch, I tried it for two weeks and cut my own bill from $180 to $85. Any other neighbors here secretly stretching their food dollars with a weekly route?

Ha wow, now I feel personally attacked by this guy's dedication. I guess my "just throw whatever looks decent in the cart and hope it works out" strategy is seriously lacking. Maybe I need to buy a bigger car to haul all those discount groceries around too.

My husband has been doing the coupon binder thing for years and I can tell you he saves us about $200 a month on average, but he also spends four hours every Sunday clipping and organizing.

Take @grant.nina's point further and just ditch the cart entirely lol, free roaming the aisles like a true feral shopper is way more chaotic and gets you the real deals.
