A client's old forum plugin in Chicago started spamming links last week

I was helping a small business owner move their builders forum to a new host. They had a custom plugin from 2019 for user badges. The second we switched servers, it began posting junk links in every thread. It took me three hours to find the bad code and shut it off. Has anyone else had a plugin go rogue after a server move?

My old code would probably do that just to spite me.

Is your code actually haunted, or did you forget to update the timestamp on that config file?

Look at my old project from two years ago. It feels like the code waits for me to brag about a fix before it throws a new, weirder error. I swear @dianas50, it has a personal grudge. Last week I updated a config file and it started sending blank emails at 3 a.m. for no reason. The whole thing runs on pure malice.
