Finally found a trick to stop my circular saw from binding on pressure-treated lumber
I was getting so frustrated with kickback on a $200 deck project last month, but switching to a 24-tooth blade and slowing down my feed rate completely fixed it. Has anyone else found a specific blade or technique that works for wet PT wood?

Dude I went through the exact same thing building a pergola last summer. Tried using my Diablo 40 tooth blade and about ripped my arm off on the second cut. Swapped to a cheap 24 tooth Irwin blade I had sitting around and it was like a different tool. The key for me was also keeping the blade depth just barely past the wood thickness so the teeth aren't dragging through as much material. Also started spraying a little dry lube on the blade every few cuts and that helped with the pitch buildup big time.

Yeah I used to think any blade would work if you just pushed through the wet wood fast enough, but man that was dumb. I learned the hard way on a fence repair last spring - 40 tooth blade was just grabbing and kicking back like crazy. Swapped to a 24 tooth freud and slowed way down letting the saw do the work, night and day difference. The wet PT really does need those bigger gullets to clear out the pitch and moisture.

Kinda always figured blades was blades but you guys got me rethinking that whole approach.
