I labeled every outlet in my remodel by breaker number and the electrician actually thanked me
I was doing a kitchen remodel in my 1952 house near Denver and got tired of running to the panel every time I needed to kill power. So I grabbed a cheap label maker and put the breaker number plus what it feeds right on the back of every outlet and switch plate. When the electrician came to swap my old two prong outlets for grounded ones, he finished the job in about half the time he quoted me because he never had to guess or flip breakers. He said most people just scribble on the panel door and half the writing is wrong anyway. Now I want to know if anyone labels their plumbing shutoffs the same way, because I might do that next.
