Just hit 500 posts on a niche building forum and it blew my mind
I've been posting on the Builders Forum for about 2 years now, mostly asking dumb questions about framing. Last night I checked my profile and saw I had exactly 500 posts. That's a lot of time spent talking about lumber and foundation pours lol. Has anyone else noticed how much you learn just by answering other people's questions on here?

Funny timing, I actually just read something the other day about how people who ask questions in forums tend to learn faster than those who just lurk. Makes sense, because when you're typing out an answer you have to think it through. 500 posts is no joke, that's like a full book's worth of building advice. And yeah, the framing questions are never dumb when you're starting out. I swear half of what I know about foundation drainage came from answering some newbie's post at 2am.

Whoa, easy there with "from nothing" - EVERYONE starts with nothing unless they inherited a business. That said, 500 posts is SOLID dedication, you've definitely learned way more than you probably realize.

See, I taught myself wiring by fixing a lamp that shocked me twice. Learning sticks.
