Last Tuesday was my worst day on site in 3 years

Was framing a wall in an old garage near Detroit. Nail gun jammed 12 times. Had to pull 6 bent nails by hand. Then my circular saw blade hit a hidden screw. Threw sparks everywhere. Took me 4 hours to do what should have been a 2 hour job. Anyone else have a day where every tool just fights back?

My buddy Mike was redoing his kitchen countertops in Royal Oak and spent a whole Saturday fighting a wet tile saw that kept kicking the breaker. Every time he reset it, the blade would bind up and stall again. By 3pm he just threw a towel over it and went to get a pizza.

Did he ever figure out why the saw kept binding up? That sounds like one of those days where everything just fights you for no reason. I swear it happens way more than people admit, like the universe picks a random Saturday to humble you over something small. It's almost comical how often we push through problems that could've been solved with a quick YouTube search or a five minute break, but nope, we gotta wrestle it until we're beat. Then we walk away, get some food, and come back to fix it in ten minutes flat. That pizza probably saved his whole project honestly.

Did you check the voltage on that circuit first?
