Shoutout to the old guy at the lumber yard who saved my deck project last month

I was at Builders Supply in Portland picking up treated lumber for a deck I was building for a customer. This older fella, must have been 70, saw me grabbing joist hangers and just said 'son, you're gonna want the triple zinc ones for anything outside.' I brushed him off at first but grabbed a box anyway. Two weeks later I noticed the cheap ones I almost bought were already starting to spot with rust. Anyone else have a random stranger save them from a dumb mistake?

Honestly, @terryf62, I couldn't agree more. Though last time I was there I spent ten minutes trying to find the exit and ended up asking a forklift driver for directions, so maybe I'm not the most reliable judge of good folks!
