Hit 22 years of no contact with my old best friend and realized I stopped counting at 19

We blew up over a $900 loan in 2003 and I swore I'd never talk to him again. Then last month I was filling out a form and put his old address as mine out of habit, which means I still remember it. Has anyone else had a random form make them realize they never really let something go?
