Hot take: I invited my old best friend to my wedding after 5 years of silence and she RSVP'd no with a handwritten note
She wrote that she was happy for me but couldn't sit in a room with my sister after what happened at her 30th in Portland, and honestly I get it now because some bridges stay burned no matter how much you want them back, so does anyone else have a wedding invite story that went sideways?
