I finally forgave my sister for borrowing my car without asking five years ago
She totaled it and I didn't speak to her for two years, but last Christmas she paid me back the full $4,200 my insurance didn't cover without me even mentioning it. Has anyone else had a big rift mended by a simple honest act like that?

Honestly, that's awesome she paid you back without having to ask. I had a friend ghost me over a dumb misunderstanding for like a year, then one day she just showed up with my favorite coffee and said sorry. That simple thing fixed everything.
