Hit $50k in monthly recurring revenue last month and it felt totally unreal

I started this little bookkeeping service for local shops in Austin about three years ago. Never really thought about MRR until my accountant pointed out I crossed $50k in January. I mean I knew business was good but seeing that number on paper made me realize I'm not just running a side hustle anymore. Kinda nervous about keeping it going though. Anyone else hit a revenue milestone that changed how you saw your own business?

Wait, your accountant told you? I tell my accountant I'm broke so he doesn't ask questions. $50k is crazy though, that's like a dozen extra tacos a week for the rest of your life.

Na bro that taco math is killing me lmao. $50k is like 833 tacos at a food truck depending where you live. That's a taco every single day for over 2 years. Your accountant probably just assumed you were hiding money in your mattress.
