I found my old paper ledger from 2008 and it's a time capsule
Back then I wrote every sale and bill by hand in a big green book. I'd spend Sunday nights adding up columns with a calculator, and tax time meant a week of sorting receipts. In 2012 I switched to a simple cloud software after missing a big tax deadline. Now my bookkeeper logs in once a month and I can see my cash flow on my phone. Anyone else keep their old paper books around as a reminder?

Ever try to read your own handwriting from years ago? I found mine and it was a mess of coffee stains and scribbled numbers. I tossed my old books because they just reminded me of the stress of making a math error. The switch to digital felt like a huge weight off my shoulders.

My 2015 physics notes changed my mind.

I get that, my old notes are just a pile of coffee rings and panic.
