Just read that 20% of small businesses fail in their first year, according to the SBA. That's lower than I thought.

Yeah, that "too stubborn to admit they're broke" line hits hard. I've seen that happen with a few folks, just pouring everything into a sinking ship. It's a rough spot to be in.

Ever watch someone double down on a bad bet just to save face? I had a buddy who kept throwing good money after bad for almost a year... pride is a crazy expensive thing.
