Man, does that ever light a fire under you? We had a surprise health inspector at our old diner once. The walk-in fridge went from a science experiment with mystery containers to looking like a surgical suite overnight. They even replaced the broken floor tile we'd been ignoring for a year. It's crazy what panic can get done.

Oh the "mystery containers" line is so real! My buddy who managed a pizza place had the same thing happen. They found a tub of sauce in the back that was so old the label had completely faded, just a white plastic ghost. The whole staff went into a cleaning frenzy that lasted until 3 AM. He said the place looked better than the day it opened, but it only lasted about a week before the chaos slowly crept back in.
