Ran my bakery for 2 years before realizing I was pricing by weight wrong

Last Tuesday a customer in Tucson asked why my sourdough cost more than the bagel place down the street, and I checked my scale, turns out I'd been charging per loaf instead of per kilo the entire time, which means I gave away roughly $4,800 in free bread, has anyone else had a silent math error that just sat there?

Wait, so were you weighing the dough before or after baking? Cause if it's after, the water loss alone could've thrown off your numbers way more than just the per-kilogram mistake.
