Spent $2,000 on a marketing agency that did nothing

Hired a local marketing agency back in March to handle my small landscaping business. They promised more leads and a better website. Three months later I had spent $2,000 and got maybe 2 calls that didn't turn into jobs. They kept saying things like "it takes time" and "the algorithm needs to adjust." When I asked for a breakdown of what they actually did, they sent me a vague report with no real numbers. I could have spent that money on a simple Google Ads setup myself and seen way better results. Has anyone else had a similar experience with agencies overpromising and underdelivering?

Well that depends entirely on what you agreed to upfront.

Wait, did they actually set up any tracking on your website or calls? Because if they didn't even bother with that, then the whole "algorithm needs time" thing is just them making excuses lol. That vague report with no real numbers is a huge red flag too.
