That one Tuesday where I closed 3 jobs before noon and thought I was invincible
Last spring I had a morning where everything just clicked. First call at 8am was a guy who'd gotten 3 other quotes and just said 'yours was the only one who actually walked the property line.' Second was a referral from a job I did 6 months ago, they didn't even ask the price. Third was a commercial lot I'd quoted 4 months ago and figured I'd lost. All signed before lunch. I went home that day feeling like I could sell ice to an Eskimo. But then the next week I didn't close a single thing for 9 days straight. Anyone else have those days where you feel like you cracked the code and then the universe humbles you right after?

Slammed into that wall so hard I'm still dizzy from it. Closed five deals in two days one time and thought I finally figured out how to game the system. Then I spent the next three weeks chasing ghosts and eating cold coffee because I couldn't give a quote away. The highs in this business feel like you're flying but the lows hit like a freight train every single time. You start wondering if the last good run was just luck and now you forgot how to even talk to people. It's brutal how it all balances out in the end.

Nah, I gotta respectfully disagree here. Those five deals in two days weren't luck, you just hit a rhythm and it worked. The next three weeks of nothing didn't cancel that out, they're just part of the same messy game. That cold coffee period probably taught you more about who actually buys from you than the hot streak did. Honestly the people who only remember the wins never last in sales because they don't learn from the silence. Tbh I think the balance you're feeling is just the natural ebb and flow of learning your actual market, not some cosmic punishment.

Ugh that cold coffee imagery hits way too close to home honestly. Been there staring at my phone wondering if I even know how to sell anymore. The silence is the worst part cause your brain just fills it with all the doubt. But you're not alone in this rollercoaster, I promise everyone goes through it. Sending you all the good vibes and warm coffee wishes friend.

Cold coffee mornings were my thing for a solid month before I switched up my whole approach. What finally turned it around was going back to basics with people I already knew instead of chasing cold leads all day. Focused on just three solid connections and the energy came back way faster than I expected.
