Threw away $400 on a fancy CRM that was way too complicated for my bakery
Spent 3 hours trying to set it up and just went back to a spreadsheet and a notebook. Anyone else find simple tools work better than the expensive stuff?

Paper and a notebook is my whole setup now. Spreadsheets let you customize things exactly how you need them without the headache.

Totally with you on the "paper and notebook" thing ben662 said. I jumped straight into the paid version without trying the free one first. Honestly glad I did because I find most free apps have too many ads or lock basic features. I tried a few spreadsheets before but they just felt clunky for my needs. The paid version of this was cheap enough that I didn't mind risking it. No regrets so far, it does exactly what I need without the extra hassle.
