Your use of "unpopular opinion" stood out to me. That view is actually pretty common these days. I bet your team's mood boost comes from the flexibility, not just working from a garage. (I mean, who misses a long commute?) The change of scene probably helped shake off old office stress. So it might be more about how work gets done, not where. Either way, cool that you found what works.
