Update: crossed 40 employees at my print shop in Dayton and I miss the days of knowing everyone's coffee order
Hit 40 people on payroll at my print shop in Dayton two weeks ago, which sounds like a win, but I realized at the Monday huddle I could not name three of the new hires. My old manager at the restaurant I worked at in college said once you pass 35, you stop being a boss and start being a schedule. For those of you who run shops with 40 or more people, how do you keep from turning into a stranger in your own building?
