Had a customer ask me to bone out a whole pig in front of his kids, said it was 'educational'

Guy brought in a 180 pound hog last Saturday and stood there with three kids watching me break it down for 45 minutes. Anyone else get weird requests from folks who think this is a show instead of a job?

Kids today spend their whole lives looking at screens. That man was trying to show them where their food actually comes from, which is more than most parents ever do. Watching a professional break down a whole animal teaches respect for the process and the animal itself. It might seem weird to you, but that lesson is probably more valuable than half of what they learn in school. Those kids will remember that experience for a long time.

Forty five minutes standing there watching you work with three kids? That's a long time for kids to stay quiet and pay attention, they must have been really into it or the dad had them on a short leash. Must have been weird having an audience for that long while you're just trying to do your job though.
