My old boss laughed when I hung my boning knives on a magnetic bar, now he's got two of them

I figured the edge would get chipped or the blades would creep with all the shop humidity, but after 6 weeks on the bar in my Knoxville shop they're holding a better edge than when I kept them in a drawer. The real win is I can grab a 6 inch curved boner without digging through a pile of steel. Anybody else notice their knives stay truer on a magnet, or am I just lucky with the airflow in my corner?
