Can we talk about how my 20 year old Rice cooker just outlasted my fancy Instant Pot?

Bought a cheap Aroma rice cooker from Target back in 2002 for like 15 bucks. Last week that thing still cooks perfect rice no matter what. Meanwhile I dropped $80 on an Instant Pot three years ago and the inner pot already has a chip and the seal is all stretched out. I'm starting to think simple and cheap beats smart and expensive for stuff that only does one job. Anybody else got an old appliance that won't quit?
