My $18 rice cooker from a garage sale outlasted a $120 one by 6 years
Bought the cheap one in 2017 and the fancy one died last winter, all because the simple version has one switch and no computer board to fry. Has anyone else noticed the basic models hold up better than the ones with screens and beeping?
Bought a cheap one at Goodwill in 2015 and it's still going strong, while my sister's fancy one with all the buttons kicked it in like two years. Give me a single switch over a computer board any day.
