My grandpa's old Stanley thermos finally gave out after 25 years

I inherited this thing in 2010. Kept coffee hot for 8 hours easy through three different job sites. Dropped it off ladders, left it in snowbanks. Last week the cap cracked and now it leaks. I paid $20 for a replacement at the hardware store and it's junk compared to that old one. Anyone know if they still make them like they used to?

Aw, come on now. That thermos has seen me through a breakup, a cross-country move, and three different jobs. It's dented in just the right spots. You don't just throw that kind of history in the trash. I'd rather spend my money on good coffee than on a new container that won't keep it hot anyway.

Hey @dianas50, you still use that old thermos or did it finally give up on you too?
