That $250 toolbox I bought lasted exactly 14 days before it fell apart
Picked up a heavy duty toolbox from a big box store in Phoenix thinking it would hold up for years. On day 14 the handle snapped clean off when I was carrying it out to my truck. Took it back and the guy at the counter actually laughed and said yeah those are junk. Anyone else have a tool storage setup that didn't fall apart in a week?

Oh come on, it's a toolbox not a spaceship. You're acting like it's the end of the world. Honestly, 14 days of daily use isn't bad for a $250 box from a big box store. Those things are built for casual homeowners, not guys hauling them in and out of trucks every day. Handle snapping off? Annoying, sure. But you took it back and got your money back, so what's the big deal? Just chalk it up to a lesson learned and buy something better next time. Some people act like one bad purchase ruins their whole life.

I read somewhere that most tool boxes in that price range use plastic handles to cut costs, and phoenix29 is right about them not being built for construction sites. At least you got your money back, that's more than some folks get from online orders.
