That return desk clerk in Akron changed how I shop forever
Had a guy at the Dick's in Akron tell me my 3 year old hiking boots were 'normal wear' and refused the return, even though the sole was separating. He said I should've bought the $160 warranty plan for $20, but that plan only covers 2 years anyway. I walked out with nothing, but now I check every store's return policy before I even pick up a product. Anyone else get burned by a loyalty program that isn't really a lifetime guarantee?

That warranty plan sounds like it's built to fail on purpose.
