The $60 folding knife that broke on day 3
Bought a tactical folding knife off Amazon for 60 bucks, looked solid in the pics with a good weight to it. On day 3 I'm cutting open a cardboard box and the lock mechanism gives out, blade folded right onto my finger. Bandaged that cut and tossed the thing in the trash, what do you folks actually carry that won't snap on you?

Ever try a Ontario Rat 2? Mine's been solid for years now.

Had a similar thing happen with a budget brand knife a few years back, lost a little chunk of skin. Switched to an Ontario Rat 2 for about 40 bucks and it's held up through everything from Amazon boxes to drywall work. What's your budget for a replacement?
