Took me 3 tries to find a water bottle that didn't leak in my bag
Bought a fancy stainless steel one from a hiking store in Portland and it dripped all over my laptop on the first commute. Ended up with a simple Nalgene from a gas station that's been dry for 6 months. Anyone else have a brand that actually seals tight every time?

Read somewhere that "leakproof" just means "not leaking yet" for most bottles. Nalgene's been bulletproof for decades, guess keeping it simple really works.

Oh man that is rough. Spilled water on a laptop is a nightmare I've been through before. My Hydro Flask has been solid for two years now never a single drop. Nalgene is a classic though can't go wrong with simple and reliable. Glad you found something that works.
