Finally nailed a dovetail jig setup after a bad shop class memory

Last week I dug out an old Leigh jig that's been sitting in my garage for 2 years, scared to touch it because my high school shop teacher made me hand-cut everything and I botched every joint. Took a full Saturday to dial in the bit height and bushing offset, but the first test piece fit so snug I actually said 'no way' out loud. Now I'm wondering if I should redo a bunch of drawer boxes on a client job I started last month with butt joints, or just leave them since they're already glued up. Anyone else have a tool they avoided forever and then it clicked once you gave it a real chance?

You ever just rip out glue joints and start over? I'd say do it now while you still hate looking at those butt joints. Future you will thank you when the client actually opens a drawer.
