That Tuesday where every hinge fought back

Last month I had a full day of hanging 14 doors on a remodel in Portland and by noon I had already stripped two cabinet hinges with a bad drill setting. The third one snapped clean at the pin and I sat on the floor for a minute just staring at it, then switched to my hand driver and finished the whole set without a single issue. Do you ever have those days where the tool is fine but your head just isn't in it, or was it just me rushing a two-day job into one?

Slow down and breathe first. That's when the dumb mistakes happen. Hand tools save the day every time.
