TIL you should stop using wood filler on cabinet doors before you sand the edges flat
I was filling every little gap before sanding and wondering why my doors kept showing raised spots under the paint. Turns out the filler soaks into the end grain and swells up past the surface after you sand, so now I sand first then fill only what is left. Anyone else run into this or am I the only one who wasted a whole stack of poplar figuring it out?
