Two-part foam for shims, I was wrong about it for years

I always thought expanding foam in a cabinet install was hack work. Then a job out in Grand Rapids had a wall so far out of plumb that even my best shims left a gap you could park a truck in. Bought a can of that two-part foam for door frames, shot it in behind the cabinet, and it leveled everything in 15 minutes. The foam cut clean with a flush trim bit after it cured, and that cabinet hasn't budged in 8 months. Anyone else use this stuff for scribing or leveling, or am I still the only one?

Oh man, I felt this one in my soul. I spent a whole decade fighting with shims and praying to the cabinet gods, only to discover foam exists and I'm basically a caveman with a hammer. The first time I tried it, I shot way too much and it pushed the cabinet off the wall, so I had to sit on it for 20 minutes like some kind of human clamp. Still turned out better than my shim work though, which says a lot about my shim game, lol. That flush trim trick is a lifesaver too, I used to just leave the mess and hope nobody looked behind the fridge.
