A homeowner in Springfield pointed out my cable routing was ugly.

I was finishing a job last month and the guy said, 'It works fine, but that line across my living room wall looks like an afterthought.' I started using a 50-foot fish tape to run everything inside the wall whenever possible, even if it takes an extra 15 minutes. How much extra time do you guys spend on making the install look clean versus just functional?

That Springfield guy has a point. What's the longest extra time you've spent just to hide a single wire?

Sometimes that wire just needs to be seen.
