Customer's dog grabbed my coax and ran a mile with it
Was pulling line through a crawlspace in Maplewood last Tuesday and the homeowner's golden retriever snatched the loose end of my 500ft spool. He took off through the backyard, down the street, and tangled it around a mailbox post before I caught him. Had to cut 40 feet off and re-terminate. Anyone else ever have pets wreck their pull?

A golden retriever ran a mile with 500 feet of coax? That dog must have been part sled dog. I've had cats chew through fiber lines but nothing like that. At least you caught him before he wrapped it around a tree or a car axle. Bet that homeowner felt like a real jerk when you showed up with 40 feet of chopped cable.

Wait, so the dog ran a mile with that cable still attached? That's honestly impressive in a ridiculous way. The homeowner probably thought it was funny until they saw the damage.
