Dropped a spool off a ladder in Fort Worth and learned my helper can't catch
Last Tuesday I was running a 500 ft drop in a two story house in Fort Worth and had the spool sitting up on the top rung of my ladder. I turned around for two seconds to grab my staple gun and heard the whole thing crash onto the tile floor. Client came running out of the kitchen and I had to explain why their hallway sounded like a car wreck. Wound up cutting out about 30 ft of crushed coax and redoing the run from the attic because I didn't trust the rest of it. Anybody got a trick for keeping spools stable up high or do I just need to stop being lazy and walk back down to the van each time?
