Finally got that old apartment building in Springfield wired up

Had a job at the old brick complex on Maple Street. Every unit needed a new line run from the street box. Found the original conduit from the 70s was completely packed with dirt and old cables. Spent two full days just clearing that out before we could pull anything new. Anyone else run into a mess like that in an older building?

Not sure if that's quite right about the conduit, @the_pat. Those old 70s buildings usually had metal pipe, not plastic. The dirt gets in through cracked fittings, not from the original install. Still a pain to clean out either way.
