Just dropped $60 on a proper cable comb and it's a total game changer for my rack work.

It cut my time on a big office job in half, and the client actually complimented the clean look. Anyone have a favorite brand for these, or is it all pretty much the same?

Wait, you spent sixty bucks on a comb? I just use a cheap plastic one from the hardware store and it works fine. Seems like a lot for what it is.

Yeah my friend bought a fancy wooden comb after her hair kept snapping. She said the cheap ones had rough seams that caught on her ends, but the smooth teeth on the expensive one just glide through. Made a huge difference for her thick, curly hair.

Oh wow, that makes total sense. I never thought about how the seams on cheap combs could actually damage hair over time, like micro-tears or something. It's not just about the material, but the finish, which @the_logan might not notice if his hair is more forgiving. For some hair types, the right tool is a real game changer, not just a luxury.
