Just realized that $60 Klein crimper I bought off eBay last month was a fake
The die markings wore off after 20 compressions and it left burrs on every connector so bad I had to redo a whole job in Bakersfield, has anyone else gotten burned on counterfeit tools from resellers?

Left burrs on every connector" is rough, but honestly the die markings wearing off after 20 crimps is the bigger red flag. Real Klein dies are stamped pretty deep, not just printed on the surface like that. The thing people don't talk about enough is that these counterfeit tool sellers have gotten real good at making the packaging and handles look legit, so you'd never know until the tool actually does work. I save money on most stuff but crimpers are one of those things where you really do get what you pay for, even if you're paying full price from a real dealer.

Bet the counterfeit dies are made from cheaper steel too.
